Each painting is based on the word ECHO which appears in the negative space between the house forms. 


Using the then new media of 3D modelling software, itself echoing an ideal disembodied space, the works evoke White Australia’s alienation from the Australian landscape. 


We don't live here. A shame really, Australia looks like a nice place - I wouldn't mind living there sometime.
